The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan is pleased to announce that the 2nd Edition of TEXPO will be held at Lahore Expo Center, Johar Town, Lahore, April 11-14, 2019.
The Textile sector accounts for nearly 60% of Pakistan’s exports. Pakistan is the 4th largest cotton producer in the world. It is also one of the few countries, which offers a vertically integrated textile industry from cotton ginning, spinning, weaving, dyeing, cut & sew, to embellishments. TEXPO is the biggest platform for the promotion of Pakistan’s Textiles
The 1st edition of TEXPO was launched in 2016 in which delegates from 52 countries across the globe participated and more than 700 specialized B2B meetings were organized between international buyers and exhibitors in the subcategories of Textile which included Cotton Yarn, Fabrics, Knitwear, Readymade Garments, Towels, Hosiery, Leather Garments and Accessories, Footwear, Handicrafts, Bed Linen etc.
Applications will be invited from interested US companies to attend the exhibition as part of the delegation of Commercial Section Houston. Sponsorship may be available for eligible companies.
