Issuance of Pakistani Visa

• Valid Passport and one photocopy of first page (must be valid at least for 6 months from travelling date).
• Complete Visa Form.
• 2 Passports size Photographs.
• For non-us passports holders a notarized copy of proof of legal resident status in USA (alien registration card).
• Visa fee for US passport is $120.00. For other countries please find the FEE. The Fee should be in the form of Money Order or Cashier’s Checks made payable to Consulate of Pakistan Houston. CASH AND PERSONAL CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
• Each Application would be treated separately and all required documents’ copies must be attached with each application.
  
• Proof of Residence like copy of state ID card or Driving License (The Houston Consulate’s consular jurisdiction is only for Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas).
• Prepaid return envelope for applications sent by Fedex, UPS and Certified mail (US Postal Service is preferable).
• For children under 12 years of age, mother’s notarised consent letter conveying no objection to issuance of visa to her child must be attached with visa application form. In case of joint custody of child awarded by a court, consent of both parents is required be attached.

Important Note:-
5 years multiple entry visas will be issued to US citizens of Pakistan origin on production of previous Pakistani passport or CNIC/NICOP.

For children born in the US, please attach a copy of Father/Mother's Pakistani passport or CNIC/NICOP and child’s birth certificate.

It is strongly recommended that applications be mailed with tracking number. The Consulate would not be responsible if documents sent without tracking number are lost in the mail.

Business Visa:
A letter of invitation and a letter from the sponsoring company are required.

Student Visa:
A visa can only be issued after approval of the Ministry of Education & the Ministry of Interior Government of Pakistan.

NGO Representatives Visa:
The visa can only be issued after the approval of the Ministry of Interior Government of Pakistan. We regret that we cannot make an exception to this condition.

Journalist Visa:
The visa will be issued only on presentation of letter from the sponsoring publication and in consultation with our Press Attaché based in Embassy of Pakistan Washington D.C.

Issuance of Pakistani Visa to Indian passport holders

• Valid Passport.
• Submit 6 copies of filled in visa forms.
• 6 photocopies of passport (do not send original passport).
• Notarized copy of proof of legal resident status in USA.
• 6 photographs.
• Invitation letter from Pakistan along with copy of passport or CNIC/NICOP.
• $5 Visa fee.

Express Mail

If application is submitted through mail, self addressed pre-paid envelope is mandatory for the return of documents. The Consulate recommends the use of Express Mail for all deliveries. Please use the flat rate envelop. Do not use Metered stamps. The Consulate does not accept any other form of return envelope. Click here for US Postal Services. Note:
Approximate processing time is 3-4 months for Indian nationals.

ALL VISA FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE EVEN IF VISA IS DENIED.
